The name Fifth Element Feng Shui is inspired by Five Element Theory, one of the core components of
Chinese philosophy and Feng Shui.

The Five Elements
- fire, earth, metal, water and wood - represent the natural flow and order within nature.
It is the seamless interaction of these elements and their inherent connection to nature, the universe and
humanity that inspired the name Fifth Element Feng Shui. It also represents a business philosophy of
always providing that little extra to make a client’s experience of Feng Shui both authentic and unique.
Rachel is committed to helping people bring about positive growth and life harmony through the application
of Feng Shui principles in the home environment. She is passionate about supporting people as they
navigate through any challenges faced on their way to reaching their highest potential, firmly believing
one’s home can provide access to what one wishes to create in their lives.

Rachel’s keen appreciation for design and passion for interiors sets Fifth Element Feng Shui apart from
more traditional offerings. She believes aligning Feng Shui recommendations with aesthetic and practical
considerations allows clients to get the best out of their home for the long term. Sustainable housing
design and development is another important consideration and Rachel is keen to collaborate with clients
to create homes that work for them and for the environment.

Rachel graduated from the Australian College of Environmental Studies with a Certificate in Feng Shui &
Geobiology and a Certificate in Chinese Astrology. She has since completed Feng Shui Parts 1 & 2 with
Master Raymond Lo in Singapore. Rachel is currently consolidating her knowledge, studying Flying Star Feng
Shui and Chinese Astrology under Mr Vic Ketis. Rachel also holds a certificate in First Degree Reiki and
practices yoga and meditation daily. Rachel is committed to continuing her study in related areas in order
to bring a deeper understanding to her work and provide a more holistic perspective for her clients.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Communication from Monash University. She has worked in advertising as
a Communications Manager for the past seven years and has recently left the fast-paced corporate world
in favour of focusing on her passion for Feng Shui and making it more accessible through her business,
Fifth Element Feng Shui.

‘My sleeping patterns are much better since I changed my room around as recommended. I’ve also
noticed improvements to my health and general energy levels and I’ve really enjoyed settling into my
apartment using the advice and report Rachel prepared for me.’

Lolita, Elwood, Vic.

‘We commissioned Rachel to assess our combined residence / yoga studio for potential energetic
improvements based on her
Feng Shui knowledge. Although our background in Feng Shui was limited,
we entrusted Rachel to create an environment that was healing, comfortable and a source of energy, given
the large number of people that traffic through the house on a daily basis. Rachel's professional, consultative
and flexible approach to the project resulted in significant and inexpensive changes to the layout of our
home with impressive results. Two weeks after Rachel's Feng Shui recommendations were implemented,
we are assured our project objectives are completely met and we are very comfortable in what seems like
a new home.’
